World Food Day - SUBA Capital launches a N5million Food Fund
World Food Day is a day set aside by the United Nations to combat malnutrition and global hunger in the world.
815 million people around the world are suffering from malnutrition and hunger.
The global pandemic has increased this number even more. Over 1 billion people now live in chronic hunger, the prices for food items; skyrocketed.
One of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is Zero Hunger but will zero hunger ever be achieved in the world?
Food is not evenly distributed, 14% of the food produced in the world is wasted every year.
We at SUBA Capital believe that zero hunger can be achieved if we all play our roles as individuals to the best of our capacity.
Food does not only serve as nourishment to the body for survival, but it is also an
the aptitude of love to give hope to the world.
Due to this depth of our understanding, SUBA Capital launches an N5million Food Fund to celebrate this year's World Food Day.
SUBA Capital will use this opportunity to encourage healthy food consumption, Zero hunger, and constrain food wastage. The food fund will be available to Food vendors and others within this niche.
Who else wants food fund? Be part of the global celebration.
